Micro Point Links | The Beginner's Guide
Micro Point Links is a non-surgical solution for men and women suffering from hair loss. It uses a number of micro (or mini) Cyberhair extensions and is comfortable, light weight and does not damage human hair.
In this guide we'll go through the basics of Micro Point Links and why it might just be the best option for you and/or your clients!
Below we've designed a handy guide for the process of how Micro Point Links are added to your clients' hair.
Notice that no removal is every necessary for Micro Point Links! The hairs either shed out or are cut out during a routine haircut.
Cyberhair
Cyberhair is the most lightweight hair available on the market and is extremely close to natural growing hair.
A special process during the creation of the Cyberhair fiber is what produces its texture. This texture gives cyberhair its visual and tactile signature.
When added to already growing hair, it creates a look and feel of strong, healthy and natural hair.

As you'll notice, Cyberhair has a very similar makeup to untreated human hair. This makes it the best option for clients with thinning hair because the average person will never be able to tell the difference!

Frequently Asked Questions
Question | Answer |
Will this process damage my own hair? | No, because the strands are 4 times lighter than your own hair, and are attached with a single knot |
What happens after I use the hair or after the 6 months? | Stylists will do another evaluation and determine next steps which could include additional hair volume |
Does it hurt? | Clients may feel a gentle tugging at first. Most get used to this after the first few strands are added |
What's the difference between this and extensions? | Extensions are for length and the application process is quite different. Extensions are usually attached to groups of hair vs. an individual strand of hair. Sometimes extensions are added using an adhesive. Micro Point Link is virtually undetectable, so if you are running your fingers through your hair or someone is looking closely at your scalp, they will see hair (vs. bulk) |
Can clients use hot tools such as blow dryers and curling irons? | Yes, although International Hairgoods recommends a lower heat setting. 300 degrees maximum. |
Who is the ideal candidate?

I’d be very interested in this program, but at this time. I will hopefully be trying to recoup from covet 19 before I can do anything extra, but I so extensions & toppers & would like an alternative. Love the idea; but later.
Thanks
